About Mass Mavericks
Based in the Metro West area of Massachusetts, the Mass Mavericks is a boys' and girls' AAU program which fields teams in both the fall and spring. We are a skill-based program, primarily concerned with player development. Our primary focus is not the wins and losses of our teams, but the improvement of each and every player.
The Mavericks provides all players the opportunity to learn the game, develop and improve their skills, and play competitive basketball with and against other players of equal or higher skills. The exposure the players receive in this competitive, engaging, athletic environment dovetails with our overarching philosophy of preparing an athlete to play at a higher level of competitive sport. Whatever their desired level of competitive sport is, we will help them achieve it! The players will work hard, travel, make new friends, but most of all “have fun."
Our success will be the result of a well-structured program, the philosophy of the experienced and talented coaching staff, and our commitment to developing our young players.
